Systems of Knowledge and Vyāsa’s Nārāyaṇa-Origin
नूनं तत्रागतो देवो यथा तैर्वागुदीरिता
nūnaṃ tatrāgato devo yathā tair vāg udīritā
Bhīṣma nói: “Hẳn là nơi ấy đã có thần linh giáng đến, bởi lời họ thốt ra mang dấu ấn không thể lầm của chư thiên.”
भीष्म उवाच
Speech that is truthful, elevated, and aligned with dharma is treated as a sign of higher authority; Bhīṣma implies that words can reveal the presence of the divine and should therefore be received with reverence and moral seriousness.
Bhīṣma, while instructing in the Śānti Parva, interprets the manner and quality of certain uttered words as evidence that a divine being (or divine influence) has arrived or is at work in that situation.
