आलोकयजुत्तरपश्चिमेन ददर्श चाप्यद्धुतमुक्तरूपम् । मेरुके शिखरपर एकान्त स्थानमें जाकर नारद मुनिने दो घड़ीतक विश्राम किया। फिर वहाँसे उत्तर-पश्चिमकी ओर दृष्टिपात करनेपर उन्होंने पूर्व-वर्णित एक अद्भुत दृश्य देखा

Nārada nói: Hướng mắt về phía tây-bắc, ông thấy một cảnh tượng kỳ diệu, đúng như lời đã được thuật lại. Sau khi đến một nơi cô tịch trên đỉnh núi Meru, vị hiền triết nghỉ ngơi trong chốc lát; rồi từ đó nhìn ra, ông trông thấy một thị kiến phi thường—ngụ ý rằng sự ẩn tu có kỷ luật và cái nhìn tỉnh thức có thể hé lộ những chân lý bị che khuất trước mắt người thường.
