ततो मुहुर्त संचिन्त्य निश्चितां गतिमात्मन: । परावरज्ञो धर्मस्य परां नै:श्रेयसीं गतिम्
tato muhūrtaṃ saṃcintya niścitāṃ gatim ātmanaḥ | parāvarajño dharmasya parāṃ naiḥśreyasīṃ gatim ||
Rồi sau khi trầm tư trong chốc lát về con đường mà tự thân đã định, người ấy—kẻ thấu triệt cao và thấp, am tường đạo lộ của dharma—đã đi đến một quyết định vững chắc về con đường tối thượng, ban phúc lợi, dẫn đến thiện ích rốt ráo. Câu kệ nêu bật sự tự xét mình có chủ ý và việc chọn cứu cánh cao nhất của dharma thay vì những mục tiêu thấp hơn.
