अचेष्टमानमासीनं श्री: कज्चिदुपतिष्ठते । वश्चित्‌ कर्मानुसृत्यान्यो न प्राप्पमधिगच्छति

Transliteration

aceṣṭamānam āsīnaṁ śrīḥ kaścid upatiṣṭhate | vaścit karmānusṛtyānyo na prāpyam adhigacchati ||

Translation

Nārada nói: Đôi khi Thịnh vượng (Śrī) tự đến đứng bên một người ngồi yên bất động, chẳng hề nỗ lực; còn kẻ khác, dẫu theo đuổi hành động và gắng sức, vẫn không đạt được điều đáng lẽ có thể đạt. Lời dạy là: kết quả ở đời không phải lúc nào cũng tương xứng với công sức thấy được; vì vậy hãy hành động đúng đắn, không kiêu mạn khi thành công, cũng không tuyệt vọng khi thất bại.
