अध्याय ३२३ — श्वेतद्वीपगमनम्, यज्ञभाग-विवादः, एकान्तिभक्त्या नारायणदर्शन-नियमः (Śvetadvīpa Journey; Dispute over Sacrificial Share; Rule of Nārāyaṇa-vision through Single-minded Devotion)
संकल्पेनाथ योगेन दुष्प्रापमकृतात्मभि: । वरयामास देवेशमास्थितस्तप उत्तमम्
saṅkalpenātha yogena duṣprāpam akṛtātmabhiḥ | varayāmāsa deveśam āsthitas tapa uttamam ||
Bhīṣma nói: Với lời nguyện kiên cố và nhờ kỷ luật yoga, Vyāsa—an trú trong khổ hạnh tối thượng—đã cầu xin một ân huệ nơi Mahādeva, Chúa Tể chư thiên, đấng mà kẻ chưa chế ngự được bản thân khó lòng đạt đến.
