Śuka’s Guṇa-Transcendence and Vyāsa’s Consolation (शुकगति-वर्णनम्)

यदि वाप्यस्पृशन्त्या मे स्पर्श जानासि कठ्चन । ज्ञानं कृतमबीजं ते कथं तेनेह भिक्षुणा

yadi vāpy aspṛśantyā me sparśaṁ jānāsi kaścana | jñānaṁ kṛtam abījaṁ te kathaṁ teneha bhikṣuṇā ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Dẫu ta không chạm đến ngài, nếu ngài vẫn bảo rằng bằng cách nào đó cảm thấy như bị ta chạm, thì ta phải hỏi: làm sao vị du tăng, hiền triết Pañcaśikha, lại có thể truyền trao tri kiến chân thật cho ngài ở đây? Bởi ngài đã khiến tri kiến ấy trở nên ‘vô chủng’—không thể kết quả—do bám víu vào cảm giác và ngộ nhận.”
