नारद–शुक संवादः
Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
अथोक्तश्न महाराज राजा गन्धर्वसत्तम: । पृष्टवाननुपूर्वेण प्रश्नमर्थविदुत्तमम्
atho'ktaś ca mahārāja rājā gandharva-sattamaḥ | pṛṣṭavān anupūrveṇa praśnam artha-vid-uttamam ||
Yājñavalkya nói: “Tâu Đại vương, nghe những lời ấy xong, vị vua—bậc tối thượng trong hàng Gandharva—liền lần lượt nêu ra các câu hỏi, những câu hỏi có ý nghĩa thâm sâu nhất, do người thật sự hiểu đạo lý mà hỏi. Ta nói với vua Gandharva: ‘Tâu Đại vương, ngài đã nêu những câu hỏi tuyệt hảo, nối tiếp nhau theo thứ tự. Ngài là người thấu đạt ý nghĩa. Xin đợi một lát; trong khi ấy ta sẽ suy xét các câu hỏi của ngài.’ Vua Gandharva đáp: ‘Rất tốt,’ rồi ngồi yên lặng.”
