Śukasya Janma-yoga-phalaṁ — Vyāsasya Tapasā Putrārthaḥ (Śānti-parva 310)

अज्ञानात्‌ परिपृच्छामि त्वं हि ज्ञानमयो निधि: । तदहं श्रोतुमिच्छामि सर्वमेतदसंशयम्‌

ajñānāt paripṛcchāmi tvaṁ hi jñānamayo nidhiḥ | tad ahaṁ śrotum icchāmi sarvam etad asaṁśayam ||

Vua Janaka nói: “Vì vô minh nên tôi mới hỏi. Ngài quả thật là kho tàng của tri thức. Bởi vậy, tôi muốn được nghe tất cả những điều ấy từ ngài, không còn chút nghi hoặc nào, để mọi hoài nghi đều được dứt sạch.”
