निरन्तरं च मिश्र च लभते कर्म पार्थिव । कल्याणं यदि वा पापं न तु नाशो<स्य विद्यते

nirantaraṃ ca miśraṃ ca labhate karma pārthiva | kalyāṇaṃ yadi vā pāpaṃ na tu nāśo 'sya vidyate, rājan ||

Parāśara nói: “Tâu Đại vương, con người nhận quả của nghiệp: khi thì là niềm vui liên tục không gián đoạn, khi thì là kinh nghiệm pha trộn giữa vui và khổ. Dù hành vi là cát tường hay tội lỗi, nó không thể tiêu mất nếu chưa được thọ nhận như quả báo xứng đáng của nó.”
