Adhyāya 287 — Janaka’s Inquiry on Śreyas, Abhayadāna, and Asaṅga

यथाशीला हि राजान: सर्वान् विषयवासिन: । श्रेयसा योजयत्याशु श्रेयसि प्रत्युपस्थिते
yathāśīlā hi rājānaḥ sarvān viṣayavāsinaḥ | śreyasā yojayaty āśu śreyasi pratyupasthite ||
Nārada nói: “Vua có tính nết thế nào thì những kẻ cư trú trong cõi nước ấy cũng trở nên như vậy. Và khi cơ hội của thiện ích tối thượng hiện đến, nhà vua liền mau chóng kết nối toàn dân vào thiện ích ấy, khiến họ cùng dự phần phúc lợi và sự nâng cao.”
