Educational Q&A

Recognize the Self’s natural condition as unattached and unstained; then live with equanimity—without grief or excessive elation—and abandon envy, which fuels conflict and inner agitation.

In the Shanti Parva’s instruction section, Bhishma continues advising on dharma and inner discipline, urging a life grounded in Self-knowledge and freedom from reactive emotions like sorrow, excitement, and envy.
