संहारविक्षेपसहसत्रकोटी - स्तिष्ठन्ति जीवा: प्रचरन्ति चान्ये । प्रजाविसर्गस्य च पारिमाण्यं वापीसहस्राणि बहूनि दैत्य
saṃhāra-vikṣepa-sahasra-koṭī-stiṣṭhanti jīvāḥ pracaranti cānye | prajā-visargasya ca pārimāṇyaṃ vāpī-sahasrāṇi bahūni daitya ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Vô số ức sinh linh đứng yên trong những chu kỳ tan rã và phân tán, còn kẻ khác thì chuyển động trong hiện hữu năng động. Và lượng trào dâng của sự sáng tạo thì mênh mông không thể đếm—như muôn ngàn hồ chứa—hỡi Daitya. Vì thế, sự thành và hoại của thế gian là vô lượng; chớ bám chấp nó như thường hằng.”
