वेदांश्व॒ वेदितव्यं च विदित्वा च यथास्थितिम् । एवं वेदविदित्याहुरतो5न्यो वातरेचक:
Translation
Người nào biết đúng đắn các Veda và điều cần được biết nhờ Veda, lại thấu rõ sự vật đúng như thực tướng, thì người ấy mới được gọi là “bậc thông Veda”. Còn những kẻ khác, khác với người ấy, chỉ phát ra âm thanh nơi miệng như chiếc bễ thổi—chỉ phun hơi mà thôi, chứ không thật sự tụng đọc Veda bằng tri kiến.
