तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः
Instruction on the Cessation of Craving
स्यूमराश्मिरुवाच सर्वमेतन्मया ब्रह्मन् शास्त्रतः परिकीर्तितम् । न ह्विज्ञाय शान्त्रार्थ प्रवर्तन्ते प्रवृत्तय:
Syūmarāśmir uvāca: sarvam etan mayā brahman śāstrataḥ parikīrtitam | na hi vijñāya śāstrārthaṁ pravartante pravṛttayaḥ ||
Syūmarāśmi nói: “Bạch Bà-la-môn, mọi điều tôi trình bày ở đây đều đã được nêu rõ dựa trên uy quyền của śāstra. Vì nếu không hiểu ý nghĩa của śāstra, thì những thôi thúc hay việc làm của bất cứ ai cũng không thể khởi hành một cách vững chắc.”
