Adhyāya 262: Śabda-brahman, Para-brahman, and the Ethics of Tyāga

Kapila–Syūmaraśmi Saṃvāda

सतां वत्मनिवर्तन्ते यजन्ते चाविहिंसया । वनस्पतीनोषधीश्व फल मूलं च ते विदु:

satāṁ vatmanivartante yajante cāvihiṁsayā | vanaspatīnoṣadhīś ca phala-mūlaṁ ca te viduḥ ||

Họ đi theo con đường của bậc hiền thiện và phụng thờ không bạo hại. Họ xem quả và rễ của cây cối, cùng các loài thảo dược, là những phẩm vật cúng dường và nguồn dưỡng nuôi thích đáng—chọn lấy những gì có thể lấy mà không làm tổn hại sinh linh.
