कपिलगोसंवादे गृहस्थ-त्यागधर्मयोः प्रमाण्यविचारः

अण्डेभ्यस्त्वथ पुष्टेभ्य: प्राजायन्त शकुन्तका: । व्यवर्धन्त च तत्रैव न चाकम्पत जाजलि:,अण्डोंके पुष्ट होनेपर उन्हें फोड़कर बच्चे बाहर निकले और वहीं पलकर बड़े होने लगे, तथापि जाजलि मुनि हिले-डुले नहीं
aṇḍebhyas tv atha puṣṭebhyaḥ prājāyanta śakuntakāḥ | vyavardhanta ca tatraiva na cākampata jājaliḥ ||
Bhishma nói: Rồi khi những quả trứng đã được nuôi dưỡng đầy đủ, chim non phá vỏ mà ra đời. Chúng lớn lên ngay tại đó; thế nhưng hiền giả Jājali vẫn không hề cựa quậy hay dao động.
