अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः
Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning
तामब्रवीत् तदा देवी मृत्यो संहर मानवान् । अधर्मस्ते न भविता तथा ध्यास्याम्यहं शुभे
tām abravīt tadā devī mṛtyo saṁhara mānavān | adharmas te na bhavitā tathā dhyāsyāmy ahaṁ śubhe ||
Bấy giờ, Phạm Thiên nói với nữ thần: “Hỡi Tử Thần, hãy thực hiện việc thu lấy mạng sống loài người. Vì điều ấy, ngươi sẽ không mắc tội bất nghĩa. Hỡi bậc cát tường, ta sẽ luôn giữ ngươi trong sự quán niệm thiện lành và nâng đỡ.”
