अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः
Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning
ततोअब्रवीत् पुनर्मुत्युर्भगवन्तं पितामहम् । न हरेयं प्रजा देव पुनश्चाहं प्रसादये
tato 'bravīt punar mṛtyur bhagavantaṃ pitāmaham | na hareyaṃ prajā deva punaś cāhaṃ prasādaye ||
Rồi Thần Chết lại thưa với Đấng Tổ Phụ đáng tôn kính (Brahmā): “Bạch Chúa tể, con không thể gây nên sự hủy diệt của muôn loài. Vì vậy, con lại xin ân huệ và sự cho phép của Ngài.”
