इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत मोक्षधर्मपर्वमें मृत्यु और प्रजापतिके संवादका उपक्रमविषयक दो सौ छप्पनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraṁ śrī-mahābhārate śānti-parvaṇi antargate mokṣa-dharma-parvaṇi mṛtyu-prajāpati-saṁvādasya upakrama-viṣayakaḥ dvi-śata-ṣaṭ-pañcāśattamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ hai trăm năm mươi sáu trong phần Mokṣadharma thuộc Śānti Parva của bộ Mahābhārata tôn kính, mở đầu cho cuộc đối thoại giữa Mṛtyu (Thần Chết) và Prajāpati. Lời kết chương báo hiệu sự chuyển sang một giáo huấn được đặt trong khuôn khổ đối thoại về tử vong và trật tự vũ trụ, chuẩn bị người đọc cho sự suy tư đạo đức hướng về dharma của giải thoát.
