मृत्युकारणप्रश्नः / Inquiry into the Cause and Designation of Death
लोकमातुरमसूयते जन- स्तत् तदेव च निरीक्ष्य शोचते । तत्र पश्य कुशलानशोचतो ये विदुस्तदुभयं कृताकृतम्
lokam āturam asūyate janaḥ tat tad eva ca nirīkṣya śocate | tatra paśya kuśalān aśocato ye vidus tad ubhayaṁ kṛtākṛtam ||
Người đời thấy kẻ khác khổ đau, bệnh tật thì có kẻ sinh tâm chê trách; có kẻ lại nhìn cảnh ấy mà sầu não. Nhưng những ai thật sự hiểu cả “việc làm” và “không làm”—nhân và quả, điều đã làm và điều không làm—thì không bi lụy. Hãy xem những bậc biết mà không sầu ấy là người khéo hiểu, là bậc trí trong hoàn cảnh ấy.
