विद्वांस्त्यागी श्रद्दधधान: कृतज्ञ- स्त्यक्त्वा लोकं मानुषं कर्म कृत्वा । मेधाविनां विदुषां सम्मतानां तनुत्यजां लोकमाक्रम्य राजा
vidvāṁs tyāgī śraddadhānaḥ kṛtajñas tyaktvā lokaṁ mānuṣaṁ karma kṛtvā | medhāvināṁ viduṣāṁ sammatānāṁ tanutyajāṁ lokam ākramya rājā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Nhà vua—khôn ngoan, biết xả ly, đầy lòng tin và biết ơn—sau khi làm trọn bổn phận của kiếp người rồi rời cõi phàm, đã đạt đến cảnh giới của những bậc trí tuệ và học giả, được mọi người tôn kính, những người xả thân tại các thánh địa. Tại đó, ông an trụ.
