क्षमस्व नचिरादिन्द्र त्वामप्युपगमिष्यति । इन्द्र! मैं सदा सावधान रहता था
kṣamasva nacirād indra tvām apy upagamiṣyati |
Bhīṣma nói: “Xin tha lỗi cho ta, hỡi Indra. Chẳng bao lâu nữa, Thời gian cũng sẽ ập đến với ngươi. Dẫu ta luôn tỉnh thức, vậy mà nếu Thời gian không hề biết mỏi vẫn có thể giáng xuống ta, thì nó cũng sẽ sớm giáng xuống ngươi. Xin thứ cho ta vì đã nói ra sự thật cay đắng này.”
