नित्यं कालपरीतस्य मम वा मद्विधस्य वा | बुद्धिरव्यसनमासाद्य भिन्ना नौरिव सीदति
nityaṁ kālaparītasya mama vā madvidhasya vā | buddhir avyasanam āsādya bhinnā naur iva sīdati ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Dù là chính ta hay bất cứ người nào giống ta—khi bị Thời gian (sức mạnh của định mệnh) áp đảo, trí tuệ tất yếu rơi vào khốn đốn, rệu rã và chìm xuống như một con thuyền bị bổ đôi.”
