न त्वेतदनुरूपं ते यशसो वा कुलस्य च । समृद्धार्थोडसमृद्धार्थ यन्मां कत्थितुमिच्छसि
na tv etad anurūpaṃ te yaśaso vā kulasya ca | samṛddhārtho 'samṛddhārthaṃ yan māṃ katthitum icchasi ||
Bhishma nói: “Điều ấy không xứng với danh tiếng hay dòng dõi của ngươi—rằng ngươi nay đang phú quý lại muốn khoe khoang trước mặt ta, kẻ đã bị tước mất phú quý. Tự ca tụng mình khi người khác sa sút là điều bất xứng với kẻ tự nhận là cao quý.”
