भीष्म उवाच एवमुक्तो भगवता महेन्द्र: पृथिवीं तदा । चचारैरावतस्कन्धमधिरुहा[ू श्रिया वृत:
bhīṣma uvāca evam ukto bhagavatā mahendraḥ pṛthivīṃ tadā | cacāra airāvataskandham adhiruhya śriyā vṛtaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Được Đấng Tôn Quý (Phạm Thiên) truyền dạy như thế, Mahendra (Đế Thích) liền cưỡi lên lưng Airāvata và bắt đầu du hành khắp mặt đất, rực rỡ trong vinh quang vương phúc—biểu thị quyền uy trị vì và che chở thế gian đã được thần linh chuẩn nhận.
