Śrī–Indra–Bali Saṃvāda: The Departure and Fourfold Placement of Lakṣmī

विनाशिनो हाध्रुवजीवितस्य कि बन्धुभिभभिन्नपरिग्रहै श्व । विहाय यो गच्छति सर्वमेव क्षणेन गत्वा न निवर्तते च

vināśino hādhruva-jīvitasya kiṁ bandhubhir bhinna-parigrahaiḥ śvaḥ | vihāya yo gacchati sarvam eva kṣaṇena gatvā na nivartate ca ||

Bhishma nói: “Than ôi, đối với kẻ có đời sống mong manh và thọ mạng bất định, họ hàng và của cải tản mác, bấp bênh ấy rốt cuộc có ích gì? Nghĩ như vậy, người nào trong khoảnh khắc xả bỏ tất cả với tâm ly tham rồi ra đi—đã đi rồi—thì không còn trở lại (vào sinh tử thế gian) nữa.”
