जनकस्य मोक्षमार्गप्रश्नः तथा पञ्चशिखोपदेश-प्रस्तावः | Janaka’s Path to Liberation: Prelude to Pañcaśikha’s Instruction
तत्कारणैहिं संयुक्त कार्यसंग्रहकारकम् । येनैतद् वर्तते चक्रमनादिनिधनं महत्
tatkāraṇaiḥ saṁyuktaḥ kārya-saṅgraha-kārakam | yenaitad vartate cakram anādi-nidhanaṁ mahat ||
Bhishma nói: Được kết hợp với những nhân tố nhân duyên ấy, hữu tình mang thân tích lũy và cất giữ các hành động (nghiệp). Từ nghiệp phát sinh những dấu ấn tiềm ẩn và dục vọng; từ dục vọng, nghiệp lại sinh ra lần nữa. Vì vậy, bánh xe lớn của luân hồi—không khởi đầu, không cùng tận—vẫn tiếp tục xoay vần.
