इतरास्तु व्यजायन्त गन्धर्वास्तुरगान्‌ द्विजान्‌ | गाश्च किंपुरुषान्मत्स्यानुद्धिज्जांश्व वनस्पतीन्‌

itarāstu vyajāyanta gandharvāstura-gān dvijān | gāś ca kiṃpuruṣān matsyān udbhijjāṃś ca vanaspatīn ||

Bhīṣma nói: Những người con gái khác (của Dakṣa) sinh ra các Gandharva, ngựa, chim, bò, Kiṃpuruṣa, cá; lại còn các loài sinh từ mầm và cây cối cùng mọi thảo mộc. Nhờ các con gái của Dakṣa mà dòng giống của nhiều loài được truyền nối, biểu thị sự tiếp diễn có trật tự của tạo hóa và mối ràng buộc trách nhiệm trong gia thất vũ trụ.
