प्रजापतयः देवगणाश्च दिशि-दिशि स्थिताः ऋषयः
Prajāpatis, Deva-Groups, and the Ṛṣis Assigned to the Directions
आत्मादिश्नि: कर्मभिरिध्यमानो धर्मे प्रवृत्तो द्युतिमान् सुखार्थी | परं हि तत् कर्मपथादपेत॑ निराशिषं ब्रह्मपरं हावैति
ātmādiśniḥ karmabhir idhyamāno dharme pravṛtto dyutimān sukhārthī | paraṃ hi tat karmapathād apetaṃ nirāśiṣaṃ brahmaparaṃ ha vaiti ||
Bhishma nói: Khi tự ngã bên trong, như ngọn lửa thiêng, được nhóm lên và làm rực sáng nhờ sự bền bỉ thực hành các bổn phận đã định, con người trở nên chói sáng bởi năng lực phân biệt và hướng đến hạnh phúc tối thượng, bền lâu. Khi ấy, an trú trong dharma với tâm giải thoát, người ấy vượt khỏi con đường hành động, lìa mọi dục vọng, và chứng ngộ Phạm Thiên tối thượng (Brahman).
