Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman

Manu’s Instruction

विरूप उवाच दीयमानं यदि मया नेषिष्यसि कथजड्चन । नियंस्यति त्वां नृपतिरयं धर्मानुशासक:,विरूपने कहा--विकृत! यदि तुम मेरी दी हुई वस्तु स्वीकार नहीं करोगे तो ये धर्मपूर्ण शासन करनेवाले नरेश तुम्हें कैद कर लेंगे

virūpa uvāca | dīyamānaṃ yadi mayā neṣiṣyasi kathañcana | niyaṃsyati tvāṃ nṛpatir ayaṃ dharmānuśāsakaḥ ||

Virūpa nói: “Vikṛta! Nếu ngươi cứ khước từ, không chịu nhận vật ta dâng, thì vị quân vương này—đấng gìn giữ và thi hành dharma—sẽ truyền bắt ngươi và giam giữ.”
