एवमस्त्विति तानाह राक्षसेन्द्रो निशाचरान्‌

evam astv iti tān āha rākṣasendro niśācarān

Bhīṣma nói: “Vua loài rākṣasa đáp: ‘Được như thế.’ Rồi ngài cất lời với những kẻ lang thang trong đêm, chấp thuận điều đã được đề nghị và ban lời đáp cho thuộc hạ.”
