ततः पुरवरात् तस्मात् पुरुषा: श्येनचेष्टना: । गौतमेत्यभिभाषन्त: पुरद्वारमुपागमन्,यह आदेश प्राप्त होते ही राजसेवक गौतमको पुकारते हुए बाजकी तरह झपटकर उस श्रेष्ठ नगरके फाटकपर आये
tataḥ puravarāt tasmāt puruṣāḥ śyenaceṣṭanāḥ | gautam etyābhibhāṣantaḥ puradvāram upāgaman ||
Bhīṣma nói: Từ thành ấy, những người—nhanh nhẹn như chim ưng bổ xuống—đã lao tới cổng thành, vừa tiến vừa gọi Gautama.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the force of royal authority and the disciplined responsiveness expected of servants: once an order is received, action follows immediately, illustrating how power structures compel swift execution and how duty in service can override hesitation.
Men from the city rush to the city gate with hawk-like speed, calling out to Gautama as they approach, indicating that a command has been issued and is being carried out urgently at the city’s entrance.
