निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking

त॑ काश्यपो<ब्रवीत्‌ प्रीतो नोत्कण्ठां कर्तुमहसि । कृतकार्यो द्विजश्रेष्ठ सद्रव्यो यास्यसे गृहान्‌

taṁ kāśyapo 'bravīt prīto notkaṇṭhāṁ kartum arhasi | kṛtakāryo dvijaśreṣṭha sadravyo yāsyase gṛhān |

Nghe vậy, Kāśyapa vui lòng nói: “Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, ngài chớ nôn nóng phải đi đến tận nơi ấy. Việc của ngài sẽ thành tựu ngay tại đây. Hãy nhận của cải từ đây mà trở về nhà, công việc đã viên mãn.”

Kāśyapa, pleased, reassures a brāhmaṇa addressed as ‘best of the twice-born’ that he need not proceed further; his objective will be met on the spot, and he may go home with wealth, his task completed.
