ततः स भगवान् रुद्रो महर्षिजनसंस्तुत:,उस समय महर्षिगण रुद्रदेवकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा करने लगे। तब अप्रमेयस्वरूप भगवान् रुद्रने वह तलवार लेकर एक-दूसरा चतुर्भुज रूप धारण किया जो भूतलपर खड़ा होकर भी अपने मस्तकसे सूर्यदेवका स्पर्श कर रहा था
tataḥ sa bhagavān rudro maharṣijana-saṁstutaḥ | tadā maharṣigaṇā rudradevaṁ bhūri-bhūri praśaṁsante sma | tataḥ aprameya-svarūpo bhagavān rudras tāṁ khaḍgaṁ gṛhītvā anyad caturbhujaṁ rūpaṁ dhārayāmāsa, yad bhūtale tiṣṭhann api svena mastakena sūryadevaṁ spṛśati sma |
Rồi Đấng Cát Tường Rudra, được hội chúng các đại hiền triết tán dương, nhận lấy những lời ca tụng không dứt. Cầm thanh kiếm ấy, Rudra—đấng không thể đo lường—hóa hiện một hình tướng bốn tay khác, rộng lớn đến nỗi tuy đứng trên mặt đất mà đỉnh đầu dường chạm tới Mặt Trời.
