तमसा<5<वृतमस्पर्शमतिगम्भीरदर्शनम् । निःशब्दं चाप्रमेयं च तत्र जज्ञे पितामह:
tamasāvṛtam asparśam atigambhīradarśanam | niḥśabdaṃ cāprameyaṃ ca tatra jajñe pitāmahaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Tất cả đều bị bóng tối bao phủ; không thể cảm nhận được xúc chạm hay âm thanh. Biển cả duy nhất ấy trông thật thăm thẳm, không sao dò được, và không có giới hạn nào có thể đo lường. Trong sự tĩnh lặng vô lượng ấy, Đấng Tổ Phụ—Brahmā—đã hiển hiện.”
