सा हि श्रान्तं क्षुधार्त च जानीते मां तपस्विनी । अनुरक्ता स्थिरा चैव भक्ता स्निग्धा यशस्विनी
sā hi śrāntaṃ kṣudhārtaṃ ca jānīte māṃ tapasvinī | anuraktā sthirā caiva bhaktā snigdhā yaśasvinī ||
Bhishma nói: “Người nữ tu khổ hạnh ấy biết rõ ta đã kiệt sức và đang bị cơn đói hành hạ. Vậy mà vì một lẽ nào đó nàng vẫn không đến. Nàng gắn bó sâu nặng với ta, tâm trí vững vàng, một lòng sùng kính, ân cần trìu mến và có tiếng thơm.”
