Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
तरसा ये न शक्यन्ते शस्त्रै: सुनिशितैरपि । साम्ना ते5पि निगृहान्ते गजा इव करेणुभि:
tarasā ye na śakyante śastraiḥ suniśitair api | sāmnā te 'pi nigṛhyante gajā iva kareṇubhiḥ ||
Brahmadatta nói: “Những kẻ không thể khuất phục bằng sức mạnh—dẫu bằng vũ khí sắc bén—vẫn có thể bị kiềm chế bằng sự hòa giải và lời nói dịu dàng; như voi lớn bị bắt nhờ sự trợ giúp của voi cái.”
