विधास्ये प्राप्तकालं यत्‌ कार्य सिद्धिकरं विभो । मयि कृच्छाद्‌ विनिर्मुक्ते न विनड्क्ष्यति ते कृतम्‌

Transliteration

vidhāsye prāptakālaṃ yat kārya-siddhikaraṃ vibho | mayi kṛcchād vinirmukte na vinaṅkṣyati te kṛtam ||

Translation

Bhishma nói: “Ôi bậc chúa tể hùng mạnh, khi thời cơ thích hợp đến, bất cứ việc gì có thể khiến mục đích của ngài được thành tựu, ta nhất định sẽ làm. Khi ta thoát khỏi cơn khốn này, ân huệ ngài đã ban sẽ không hề mất; ta ắt sẽ báo đáp điều ngài đã làm.”
