मयाप्युपायो दृष्टोडयं विचार्य मतिमात्मन: । आत्मार्थ च त्वदर्थ च श्रेयः साधारणं हि नौ

mayāpy upāyo dṛṣṭo ’yaṃ vicārya matim ātmanaḥ | ātmārthaṃ ca tvadarthaṃ ca śreyaḥ sādhāraṇaṃ hi nau ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Sau khi dùng chính sự phán đoán của ta mà suy xét kỹ càng, ta cũng đã tìm ra một đường lối—vừa vì lợi ích của ta, vừa vì lợi ích của ngươi. Bởi phúc lợi mà nó đem lại không nghiêng về một phía; đó là điều tốt chung cho cả hai chúng ta.”
