कालो हेतुं विकुरुते स्वार्थस्तमनुवर्तते
kālo hetuṁ vikurute svārthas tam anuvartate |
Bhīṣma nói: “Thời gian làm biến dạng cả hình thái của nguyên nhân và động cơ; còn tư lợi thì cứ bám theo dòng thời gian đổi thay ấy. Người trí nhận rõ tư lợi ấy, còn kẻ thường chỉ lẽo đẽo theo sau người trí. Vì vậy, bởi ta hiểu thấu lợi ích của ngươi, ngươi chớ nói với ta theo cách ấy.”
