अकृत्वा संविदं काज्चित्‌ सहसा समवपष्लुत: । कृतज्ञं कृतकर्माणं कच्चिन्मां नाभिशंकसे

Transliteration

akṛtvā saṁvidaṁ kāñcit sahasā samavapluṭaḥ | kṛtajñaṁ kṛtakarmāṇaṁ kaccin māṁ nābhiśaṅkase ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Này bạn! Chưa hề có một lời giao ước hay dù chỉ một cuộc trao đổi ngắn, sao ngươi lại đột ngột chui tọt vào hang này? Ta biết ơn ngươi; khi bảo toàn mạng sống cho ngươi, ta cũng đã làm xong một việc lớn vì ngươi. Ngươi không hề nghi ngờ ta chứ?”
