उन्माथमप्यथादाय चाण्डालो वीक्ष्य सर्वश:,भरतश्रेष्ठ] चाण्डालने उस जालको लेकर उसे सब ओरसे उलट-पलटकर देखा और निराश होकर क्षणभरमें उस स्थानसे हट गया और अन्तमें अपने घरको चला गया
unmātham apy athādāya cāṇḍālo vīkṣya sarvaśaḥ
Bhīṣma nói: “Người Caṇḍāla cũng nhặt lấy dụng cụ ấy, lật qua lật lại xem xét từ mọi phía. Thấy chẳng còn ích lợi hay hy vọng nào, hắn rời khỏi chỗ ấy chỉ trong chốc lát, rồi cuối cùng trở về nhà—cho thấy dục vọng sụp đổ thành thất vọng khi người ta tìm lợi nơi mình không đáng được.”
