सुमित्रो नाम राजर्षिहैहयो मृगयां गत: । ससार स मृगं विद्ध्वा बाणेनानतपर्वणा
Sumitro nāma rājarṣir haihayo mṛgayāṁ gataḥ | sasāra sa mṛgaṁ viddhvā bāṇenānataparvaṇā ||
Bhishma nói: “Có một bậc vương hiền tên Sumitra, thuộc dòng Haihaya. Một lần, ông vào rừng đi săn. Ông bắn trúng một con nai bằng mũi tên có các khớp cong chúc xuống, rồi bắt đầu đuổi theo con vật bị thương.”
