Āśā-prabhava (आशाप्रभव) — On the Rise and Power of Hope/Expectation

धर्म: सत्यं तथा वृत्तं बल॑ं चैव तथाप्यहम् । शीलमूला महाप्राज्ञ सदा नास्त्यत्र संशय:
dharmaḥ satyaṃ tathā vṛttaṃ balaṃ caiva tathāpy aham | śīlamūlā mahāprājña sadā nāsty atra saṃśayaḥ ||
Vị Bà-la-môn nói: “Dharma, chân thật, hạnh kiểm đúng đắn, sức mạnh—và cả ta nữa (Lakṣmī, phúc lộc)—tất thảy đều luôn nương tựa nơi phẩm hạnh. Hỡi bậc đại trí, phẩm hạnh chính là cội rễ của chúng; điều ấy không còn nghi ngờ.”
