Āśā-prabhava (आशाप्रभव) — On the Rise and Power of Hope/Expectation

ते विश्रब्धा: प्रभाषन्ते संयच्छन्ति च मां सदा । ते मां काव्यपथे युक्त शुश्रुषुमनसूयकम्‌

te viśrabdhāḥ prabhāṣante saṃyacchanti ca māṃ sadā | te māṃ kāvyapathe yuktaṃ śuśrūṣum anasūyakam ||

Prahlāda nói: “Những vị Bà-la-môn ấy, vì tin ta, nên nói với ta một cách thẳng thắn; và họ luôn giữ ta trong khuôn phép tự chế. Họ thấy ta chuyên tâm theo con đường lời khuyên minh triết, ham phụng sự và không ưa soi lỗi người. Vì thế họ không ngừng dạy bảo ta—như thể rưới lên ta những lời cam lộ của śāstra—tựa đàn ong làm ẩm tổ mật bằng nhựa hoa.”
