त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 123

स गर्भ शिरसा देवो बहुवर्षाण्यधारयत्‌ । पूर्णे वर्षमहस्रे तु स गर्भ: क्षुवतोडपतत्‌

sa garbhaśirasā devo bahuvarṣāṇy adhārayat | pūrṇe varṣasahasre tu sa garbhaḥ kṣuvatodapatat ||

Vasuharoma nói: “Đấng thiêng liêng ấy đã đội bào thai trên đỉnh đầu suốt nhiều năm. Nhưng khi tròn một nghìn năm, bào thai trượt xuống và rơi ra đúng lúc Ngài hắt hơi—cho thấy rằng điều được nâng giữ lâu dài cũng có thể buông rời trong khoảnh khắc, khi thời gian và xung lực thân thể cùng hội tụ.”
