Educational Q&A

Do not judge hastily on a single sign of wrongdoing; weigh all relevant facts and motives. Ethical discernment (dharma) requires careful reflection before blame or punishment.

Bhīṣma points out two seemingly conflicting observations—meat is missing from an empty house, yet someone refuses meat even when offered—and urges a careful inquiry that considers both circumstances before deciding what truly happened.
