Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharma expressed as proper hospitality: approaching the worthy with humility, honouring them according to established injunctions (yathāvidhi), and offering appropriate seats—outer acts that sustain ethical and social order.

A group of great sages arrive; they are formally received and honoured in the prescribed manner, and then they take their seats on valuable, honorific seats provided for them.
