रणभूमिवर्णनम् — Devāsuropama-yuddha and the ‘River’ Metaphor of the Battlefield
अभ्ययु: कौरवान् राजन् योत्स्यमाना: समन्ततः । राजन! इसी प्रकार उस महासमरमें पाण्डव भी अपनी सेनाका व्यूह बनाकर सब ओरसे युद्धके लिये उद्यत हो कौरवोंपर चढ़ आये
abhyayuḥ kauravān rājan yotsyamānāḥ samantataḥ |
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, quân Kaurava tiến lên từ mọi phía, khát khao giao chiến. Cũng như thế, giữa trận đại chiến ấy, quân Pāṇḍava sau khi bày binh bố trận, từ bốn phương ào tới đánh quân Kaurava, hoàn toàn sẵn sàng cho cuộc chiến.”
