सम्प्राप्त: कारपवन प्रवरं तीर्थमुत्तमम्‌ । हलायुधस्तत्र चापि दत्त्वा दानं महाबल:

Transliteration

samprāptaḥ kārapavana-pravaraṃ tīrtham uttamam | halāyudhas tatra cāpi dattvā dānaṃ mahābalaḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Balarāma, bậc đại lực mang vũ khí là lưỡi cày, đã đến tīrtha ưu việt và hàng đầu mang tên Kārapavana. Tại đó, chàng thực hành bố thí, lấy sự cho đi mà tôn vinh tính thiêng của nơi chốn.
